PDC Grant

Purpose of the Teaching and Learning Grant

This grant provides for a professional development activity in the broad fields of education, new technology, business, and/or liberal arts, which will enhance the teaching and learning process at College of Lake County.  The project may focus on the development of alternative instructional delivery and/or develop or increase the faculty member's knowledge of a particular topic.  The project does not have to be specific to a particular course or program.  Successful applicants will be expected to produce and demonstrate outcomes that support institutional, divisional, and/or departmental goals.

Purpose of the Collaborative Project Grant

The collaborative grant funds projects in the broad fields of teaching and learning, diversity/multiculturalism, development of learning communities, and/or alternative forms of instruction.  Such projects should enhance the quality of the teaching and learning process at College of Lake County.  The collaborative project does not have to be specific to a particular course or program.  Teams of 2-4 faculty members will be expected to produce and demonstrate outcomes that support institutional, divisional, and/or departmental goals.
