Per Adjunct Union Contract 3.G - Adjunct faculty will not be compensated for attending programs, workshops, seminars, courses or meetings to meet federal, state or grant requirements under which an adjunct provides instruction. Check with Division office for guidelines.

Adjunct faculty currently under contract will be compensated $35/contact hour up to a maximum of 11 contact hours for the academic year (fall and spring semesters combined; no summer stipends). Please note that there are some TLETC classes that are not offered for faculty credit.

Description:Sustainability is a concept that can expand the way you teach and increase student engagement and success. This TLETC workshop series of five hands-on, interactive workshops during the 2017/2018 academic year will introduce participants to sustainability and guide them through the development of curricula specific to their discipline. Participants are expected to attend all sessions. Full-time faculty who attend all sessions and revise three lessons will qualify for a stipend. This workshop will count as sixteen contact hours and twelve credit hours.
