Per Adjunct Union Contract 3.G - Adjunct faculty will not be compensated for attending programs, workshops, seminars, courses or meetings to meet federal, state or grant requirements under which an adjunct provides instruction. Check with Division office for guidelines.
|Description:||This session is a repeat from May 2016.
Whether you are a novice just starting out or an experienced online instructor looking to enhance your skills, this program explores quality course design, how to maintain academic excellence, and strategies to engage students in an online environment. Experts discuss best practices in building online and hybrid courses. THIS CLASS IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR 5 CONTACT HOURS WITH ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENTS/READINGS.

To access the webinar, go to http://www.starlinktraining.org. Log in through the members area (if it is your first time, create your own login/password). Look for the title of the program you would like to watch under "Featured Courses" and select "Launch Course." To earn TLETC credit for viewing this webinar, you will need to submit the Viewer Verification Form to firstname.lastname@example.org NO LATER THAN May 7, 2017. If it happens to be a Starlink class that offers the course in module format for 5 contact hours, they will mail you an online certificate after the modules have been completed. To earn this additional credit, email a copy of the PDF completion certificate in addition to the Viewer Verification Form.
