This class is designed to help new employees learn their role in maintaining the safety and security of the college facilities. Topics covered in class include Security Issues, Safety Hazards, Fire Response, Medical Emergency Response, information on AED’s, the college Health Center, Campus Police services, and more. Participants will learn how and where to find the necessary information dealing with emergencies, such as a tornado, fire, workplace violence, or medical emergencies. Important phone numbers and room numbers will also be distributed. This information is pertinent to all three campuses. Although geared towards new employees, the session is open to any staff member who may find a refresher class in safety and security helpful. | |
